Cambodians Hate Trees

Cambodians hate trees. Give any one of them a chainsaw and they will cut like there is no tomorrow. Forget the fact that that those trees in Phnom Penh could actually provide shade for a land cruiser, or mercedes to park under. Take them down! Let the sunshine beat upon our streets creating unbearable heat. Also there is the common belief that water flows up hill. Ask any contractor installing some kind of gutter system, plumbing etc.
