It's that time of the year: Cambodians are making offerings and Buddhist monks are making blessings at a temple near you. It's Pchum Ben, the Festival of the Dead. Cambodians visit temples to make offerings for fifteen days in memory of their dead relatives and loved ones during the festival.
It's been on for a week or so but this morning (about 4am) it'll kick into high gear as Cambodians head to the Wat with their candles and 10,000 real packages of rice, incense, etc... If you have a chance, it's nice to see people "gettin' their religion on."
Happy Festival of the Dead Cambodia!
